Saint commemorations are formulaic liturgical phrases used during dismissals of divine services and also in the synaxarion readings for each day. They may generally be applied to saints when writing about them. The form is as follows (substituting the name of the saint for the N.):

Apostles
The holy, glorious and all-laudable Apostle N.
Evangelists
The holy, glorious and all-laudable Apostle and Evangelist N.
Martyrs
Male Martyrs
The holy, glorious and right-victorious Martyr (or Great-martyr or Venerable-martyr or Hieromartyr or Confessor or New-martyr, etc.) N.
Female Martyrs
The holy and glorious Martyr (or Great-martyr or Venerable-martyr or Virgin-martyr, etc.) N.
Hierarchs
Our father among the saints N.
