The major episcopal Churches of Syriac tradition in India are the RomanSyro-Syrian Malankara Catholic, the Syrian Orthodox Jacobite, the MarThoma Mar Thoma Syrian, the Assyrian, Independant Syrian Church and the Indian Orthodox or Malankara Orthodox Syrian.
